Jebrettt.com, Jakarta - A touching story was shared by Facebook users named Caroline Ferry and Luciana Anggraini about an elementary school boy named Alpin who every day had to travel 40 kilometers to reach his school in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.
Alpin reportedly lives in Parung Panjang, Bogor regency, West Java. Every morning he had to take a KRL train from his house to his school near Thamrin City, Tanah Abang. Likewise when returning home, the reverse route must he took.

Remarkably, he had to walk from the train station to his school every morning. The route reversed again he walked by walking in the afternoon.
"I asked, did not you picked up by Father?" He said, his father was working on the project and rarely went home while his mother was sick, "wrote Caroline on April 4.
The story that was originally told by Caroline on his Facebook account, triggered the curiosity of a number of Netizens. Many asked why Alpin had to travel so far to go to school. Why not go to Parung Panjang school only?
The answer came from Luciana's post on April 6th. He wrote that a colleague had been reunited with Alpin to get to know the boy.

"Today my friend tried to find out about this sister Alpin from Tanah Abang Station to the residence of younger sister of Alpin .. This sister attended SDN Kebon Kacang 02 Petang, 1st grade elementary school and live in Griya Bakung Raya 3, Parung Panjang." writes Luciana.
Alpin is the third of five children. His oldest brother had worked while the youngest was 6 months old.

His family was actually not have their own homes, but instead stayed at his mother's sister's house and built a room using a plywood right in front of the house.
Luciana explains that Alpin left home to Parung Panjang Station at 9 am because her school entrance hours will start at 1 pm. But he still had to walk to get to the station and after arriving at Tanah Abang he had to walk again to get to school.
Alpin never brought any money or food. All he pocketed was money for his train ride. If he was given money by others, Alpin always gave it to his mother to buy rice.
Not only that, Luciana also uploaded some photos of Alpin and a video.
The story that has been distributed over 2,400 times this reaped a lot of comments from netizens.
